Houseplants

Spring
Begonia Collection- the easy-to-care-for rhizomatous varieties in the bright indirect light of east, west, and north windows. The plants thrive in high humidity but need to dry between waterings.

Summer
Ferns- many ferns will grow in the shady eastern and northern windows of a house. Set them on pebble-lined trays that have been filled with water to just below the surface of teh stones.

Myrtle Topiaries

Ivy Topiaries- need less light than myrtle topiaries.

Fall
Succulent Collection- bright light of southern or western exposure.

Winter
Clivias- bright, indirect light. For the best bloom, give them a dry period from late October to late November.

Camelias

Gesneriads- bright filtered light; allow to dry out slightly between waterings. Keep water off of the leaves. Use African violet fertilizer.
